How best to grab the reader? You begin with 'testimonials' of individuals who invested in Bitcoin and were successful. Indeed, the first chapter in HOW TO INVEST IN BITCOIN, unabashedly proclaims, "Instant Millionaires" as the title. Yes. The book is bold. It's direct. It's gutsy. And it's audacious. But then, for the investor who is looking toward to a future with a good understanding of Cryptocurrency, my guess is that Bitcoin will be a big part of their investment strategy/ portfolio. Because audacity is part of their nature too!
Improving cryptocurrency as a transaction medium will depend on maintaining the high level of security that bitcoin has always ensured, while also improving transaction speeds. Bitcoin will continue to be highly secure, but how much its transaction speeds will improve is unclear. Bitcoin cash, once its difficulty has adjusted, could have transactions processing in two minutes and 30 seconds. The security of the Bitcoin cash blockchain, though, is unclear.
Bitcoin Cash itself was created through another acrimonious hard fork last August. That schism was motivated by a disagreement about the size of blocks in bitcoin's blockchain. Most of bitcoin's developers favored retaining the 1 megabyte block-size limit that was in effect at the time (a hack called segregated witness has increased the effective block size since then). The hard limit contributed to severe congestion on the bitcoin network, pushing transaction fees up to a median of $34 in mid-December. Bitcoin Cash supporters created their own version of bitcoin with a much higher 8 megabyte block size limit (later raised to 32 megabytes)—allowing this rival version of bitcoin to process many more transactions per second with negligible transaction fees.

These days, however, Roger Ver is advocating for Bitcoin Cash. In a recent interview with Cointelegraph, Ver described Bitcoin Cash as ‘the real Bitcoin,’ claiming it will have the bigger market capitalization, trade volume and user base in the near future. He has also been quoted saying that he holds the majority of his cryptocurrency funds in Bitcoin Cash, which is, perhaps, the biggest indicator of his faith in the asset.

I used my Android phone to search for “bitcoin wallet” on Google Play, and gave up when it produced around 200 results. Copay was near the top. It only took two minutes to create a wallet, and it prompted me to make a backup: “Watch out! If this device is replaced or this app is deleted, neither you nor BitPay can recover your funds without a backup.”
Bitcoin Cash trades on digital currency exchanges including Bitstamp,[20] Coinbase,[21] Gemini,[22] Kraken,[23] and ShapeShift using the Bitcoin Cash name and the BCH ticker symbol for the cryptocurrency. A few other exchanges use the BCC ticker symbol, though BCC is commonly used for Bitconnect. On 26 March 2018, OKEx removed all Bitcoin Cash trading pairs except for BCH/BTC, BCH/ETH and BCH/USDT due to "inadequate liquidity".[6] As of May 2018, daily transaction numbers for Bitcoin Cash are about one-tenth of those of bitcoin.[6]
Bitcoin has captured America’s imagination. Whether or not the cryptocurrency will ultimately turn out to be a good investment or just a passing fad remains to be seen. Indeed, in the past several months Bitcoin prices have enjoyed a run-up that makes the 1999 tech bubble look staid by comparison. That excitement — the promise of sudden riches or sudden ruin — has a lot of people wondering how a bitcoin investment actually works.
The short-term downward price trend of BCH intensified as an increasing number of traders started to short BCH on BitMEX. If BCH had rebounded swiftly, a short squeeze could have led to a speedy recovery. But, a lack of momentum and the sheer intensity of the sell-off led BCH to lose nearly 30 percent of its value within the past eight to nine days.

There are other ways you can incorporate "bitcoin stock" into your portfolio as well. The Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC) is one notable option that operates similarly to an exchange-traded fund. It is a trust that owns bitcoins it is holding, and by buying shares of it, you can essentially bet on bitcoin value without actually owning any of your own (their bitcoins are secured using Xapo, Inc. as storage).

This time, Bitcoin ABC will introduce several changes. The first and probably main one is called “Canonical Transaction Ordering” (CTOR). While transactions can currently be included in a block in almost any order, under CTOR, transactions must be included in a specific order. The Bitcoin ABC development team believes this offers a couple of technical benefits, in part related to (future) scaling improvements.

Bitcoin futures have fairly extreme pros and cons to them. Contracts are leveraged in that you're paying a fraction of bitcoin's actual price when you buy futures, giving you a chance to profit off them. However, the contract has an expiration date in the near future. If the price is down when it expires, you can't simply hold and wait to see if it bounces back; you just lose.
Though in some cases reluctantly, most other Bitcoin Cash implementations have sided with Bitcoin ABC. The biggest of these, Bitcoin Unlimited, has made its latest release compatible with the Bitcoin ABC hard fork by default — though users can configure their software to be compatible with Bitcoin SV instead.
